To establish and run a school in Zanzibar which provides education in the English medium, for expatriate children and for Tanzanian children subject to any restrictions on age range, and size as may be, presecibed by the Minsitry of Education, Government of Zanzibar; To offer the best possible education based on British National Curriculum and using British mainstream educational methods, adjusted in view of the school's International character; To achieve standards that enable expatriate pupils to continue their schooling in their home countries or third countries without disadvantage and to provide quality education for Tanzanian pupils; To stimulate a positive self-image regardless of race, gender or nationality, and reach out to encompass multi-ethnic international understanding, respect and interaction; To provide a stimulating learning environment that is friendly, cohesive and forward thinking where pupils are well motivated and self disciplined; To start with pupils' current level of development to enable them to reach full potential (intellectually, physically and emotionally) in order that they should function successfully in any future school environment; To serve, to the extent desired, as a centre of educational methods and practices for local and third country nationals in Zanzibar so as to invrease mutual understanding and co-operation among the people of all nationalities; To provide pupils with an understanding of the importance of the environment and its need for protection; To carry out any actions or activities conducive or incidental to the above objectives |
