ACRA was founded in 1968 as an initiative by a group of people motivated by the desire to promote community services for sustainable development in the southern countries of the world, focusing on rural areas. It is inspired by the ideas of cooperation, human-centered and environmentally sustainable development, through partnerships and equal relationships. |

The objectives of ACRA's work are information, constant dialogue, construction of space for research, concrete support and aggregation of sensitive actors. It supports development projects that are community-based and have been identified and initiated by local communities in the fields of economics, environment, health and education. |
